condoDomain Loves Google Maps
By Anthony Longo 24 01 2007Matt Busby our lead technical engineer here at condoDomain.com made an announcement earlier today. “I really love Google Maps, the guys from Microsoft Virtual Earth stink & never called us back and we are now switching over to Google…Microsoft your outa’hea.”
Recently, Microsoft Virtual Earth has had difficulties rendering our Geo-coder in the new Firefox 2.0. Supposedly there is a fix for this (as we were told @ Inman Connect NYC), however, we have had zero response from Microsoft….so Microsoft, your out…Google is moving in!

As a side note, Mr. Busby has noted throughout the day that Google maps has been incredibly easy to implement and is by far the fastest mapping service yet. Stand by in the next few days to see our new Condo Maps by Microsoft Google!
(Sneak Peak Below)

Wow it really looks like you are stuck inside the screen! Who did those stellar visual effects?
Jaron…killer job…we are dying here. This is awesome. PS…google maps really is way better!
Way to rip off BostonCondogroup.com!!!!
didn’t know that BostonCondogroup invented Google Maps…..that’s pretty cool!
Jaron, love the website!
Yeah it took many focus groups to come up with that excellent and infomative design. It’s so easy to use, even a Web Developer could use it!
LOVERS BEWARE
Google has stated they are going to start charging for using their API, no cheap thing either.. 15k starting… if you don’t pay adwords will start showing on your map in the near future!
Who uses Firefox anyway?
Jimmy - we have heard the same now for about a year. How real is this? With Microsoft, Yahoo, Mapquest and so many other mapping tools…will they be able to pull this off? Noone is going to pay 15k with other services just as good (well almost as good) as Google.
Dane - Firefox…hmm, well mine just crashed this a.m. so I am back on IE. Until I rip into them…they are still my fav.
Oh and check out Trulia’s post today on some new Firefox add-on’s…I am going to try them as soon as I get my Firefox back up and running.

Thanks for the pointer to Trulia’s heat map technology. Interesting. At this point, still a little slow, perhaps clunky, but overall, pretty slick.
