Christian Major – Beloved by everyone – RIP
By Anthony Longo 24 06 2009To any and all whom knew, heard of, worked with and befriended Christian (aka “Major”) – I have sad news to tell you all that Christian has passed and now survives in a better place.
As many of you know, Christian was not just a war hero, and peer here at CondoDomain, but was a son to loving parents, a big brother to a one-of-a-kind little brother, a roommate and very special best friend to me personally and to pretty much everyone who was fortunate enough to meet him.
Christian passed last Saturday – June 13 – in Kabul, Afghanistan and will be missed by the hundreds of people who knew him personally and the thousands who enjoyed the “Major stories” that he shared through his friends.
If you would like, please enjoy the video that Christians family put together for the services all of us were grateful to attend last evening and this morning.
Watch the video below (trouble viewing – watch on YouTube )
We all love you Christian – Rest in Peace.

I never met him, but his reputation was infamous. Rest in peace brother, and thank you for serving.
He was the best…
Major John – thank you for being the man you are and showing me another level of laughter that I had missed in life before you…you were a very special to all…I will miss you, until we meet again!
that’s horrible news tony. i’m sorry. i always enjoyed hearing his stories… he lived his life with a reckless abandon
I had knew Christian in high school and played ball with him. He was a great kid and kind soul. It is sad to know he has passed but anyone who knew him knows he was filled with friendships and loving people. As a SARC myself, I know the sacrifice and dedication it took to do what exactly Christian did. Be proud to have known a here, then and now.
RIP Christian
So tragic Tony…I just finished watching the slideshow and I am so sorry. I lost someone very close to me 5 years ago at the age of 25 so I’ve been there. He looks like an amazing person to have known.
Thx Dana – he was special that’s for sure….
So sorry to hear the news. Our hearts are with you guys. I’m sure his memory will be treasured by all he touched.
I have just learned about the passing of Christian. I only knew him for a short time at Worcester Academy, where I coached him in football and baseball. I remember that he was always full of life and lived life to its fullest. My condolences to all whom had the pleasure to be touched by this hero. Rest in peace Christian.
